WTF?!? i unplugged my headphones the other day and not long afterwards i started getting this error... while NOTHING is plugged in! it pretty much comes and goes all day long.

i've also noticed the button to lower the volume doesn't work all the time and when i get a call i hear the ringtone come in and out.

i think i might actually need to go to the apple store and replace it with a 4th iPhone. ugh.

Did I ever mention that my son is a nerd? He doesn't read my blog, so I don't have to worry about him getting upset because I call him like that. Anyway, the point of today's post is that when you have a nerdy son you need to take more money out of your pocket to keep him satisfied with his life quality.

Take this as an example: as if it was not enough we got him an iPad in the first month after launch, we also had to get him a lot of accessories which he said he couldn't do without. He pointed us to a few specialized sites, so at least we didn't need to do the research as well. I think we bought about a quarter of the stuff on this website: http://i.padaccessories.info/tag/ipad-accessories/ and that was immediately after we got the iPad dock and the wireless keyboard from Apple.com directly. We have friends who bought their kids iPads too, but they spent on average half than what we spent for our son.

Life is not fair, that's obvious. And now, guess what? Little Tim just informed us that he really really needs the new iPhone 4. He's an Apple fan. However, we should thank God Apple doesn't also make cars or bikes.

The Macbook Pro 13" inches is pretty much like an apple netbook and really portable to carry around. But I also like the iPad. I already own a laptop but would like a portable device to carry around and that fits in my bag. The only thing is that I like to use the internet a lot so I would have to pay a monthly fee for mobile broadband when I am out, they have an iPad 3G Model but it's pretty expensive.

If I already own a laptop is there any point getting the smallest Macbook Pro and which is better; the iPad or Macbook Pro 13"? Thanks for answering.

If you already have a laptop, why bother to get another one? What since would that make?

The ipad is very limited in all that it does. You will be greatly disappointed in getting it.

Stick with what you have and put the laptop in a bag.

I need a case for my new netbook and local stores only have ugly black ones or ones meant for notebooks that are much bigger. Saw some cool ones on eBay but would rather buy from a store since I have a knack for buying from smokers and getting stinky merchandise - ech!

Wondering if someone knows of a good online computer accessory store that carries a wide selection of netbook sleeves/bags.

I don't necessarily need a bag with handles, strap, etc. since it's only 10.1" and can slip into my briefcase or purse. Looking more for just a neoprene or other fabric sleeve to keep it from getting dirty/scratched and keep my pet hair off it when I'm not using it.

I feel...idk....poor. I know I'm wealthy and stuff but compared to my friends I'm getting like nothing, I mean, I would ask for more electronics but I already have the macbook pro, iphone, itouch, plasma screen, & tons of DVDs & a wii in my room..I may sound spoiled but trust me I'm not! I dont even have my own credit card like all my friends do! I have to use my mom's when I shop :( Plus I dont get everything I want quite when I want it! For example the apple ipad just came out but I didnt get it!!! I was SO MAD at first but then i realized I only had to wait about a month so whatevs...but yeah what are some other things to ask for i have makeup, perfume, clothes, shoes, purses, straighteners, electronics, what else is there...? And those haters out there are just jealous! :D I live on the Upper East Side if that helps.

I picked up one of the most useful cases you can get for your ipod, great for gamers, people who like typing a lot, and movie watchers, if you can manage to find this project I highly recommend a purchase...oh did i mention IT HAS A BUILT IN BATTERY AND THE ABILITY TO SUSTAIN CHARGING?!

I'm getting a white ipod video (30 GB). Does anyone have any cases that look good as well as protect it? What do you think about the metal/ aluminum cases? Do the scratch the ipod? I found some cool ones on the following web sites, what do you think about these?

I would recommend the type to cover the display as well. Some cover just the body and thus the displays get scratched. In any case, it is safe to use the protective film for both the body and the display. You can buy one for a few bucks.

Why don't you try this website? They have a wide variety of cases and accessories for a reasonable price. They even take off if you use the Google checkout for the first time.

It's way better than the ugly Belkin one since it doesn't stick way straight up 3 inches and is totally flexible. You just have to be a bit careful to not let the connector hit your iPhone.

The best part is that it was only a few dollars on eBay.

I am thinking of buying an Ipad tomorrow and am wondering if it is worth it. I was going to get the basic 0 product and was wondering if users have anything to say about it? Good? Bad? Also, is there a keyboard I could buy for it? As well as a stand to place it on? And can it connect to a printer? Only people who have actually owned an Ipad please...

Yes, there is a keyboard you can buy and a stand (dock). You cannot connect it to a printer, but I guess you could email yourself a file and print it from your desktop.
